From experience
Match the product: Business Cloud, Intacct, 200, Payroll. A UK payroll incident does not excuse a failed Intacct login in the US. Desktop 50 with a locked SYSMAN is your file server, not Sage Cloud.

Match the product and the country before you blame "Sage"
We read status.sage.com for current status, open incidents and upcoming maintenance. The board is grouped by product and region (North America, UK & Ireland, and others). A UK payroll incident does not excuse a failed Intacct login in the US. Sage 50 desktop on a local server with a locked SYSMAN is your file server, not Sage Cloud.
Desktop vs cloud
- Business Cloud / Intacct / 200 / Payroll. Say which one. They have different incidents.
- Sage 50 data file will not open. Local file, exclusive lock, or a dead mapped drive. This page will stay quiet, correctly.
- Payroll cutoff today. Read upcoming maintenance first. Planned windows cluster around pay day.
- SSO into Sage. If the Sage app is up and the tile never opens, check Okta or Entra.

Licences, SYSMAN, and SSO
Expired cloud licences and a desktop SYSMAN lock are the two most common "Sage is down" calls that never appear on status.sage.com. Ask which product binary they launch. Intacct admins should use the Intacct status component, not Sage 50 folklore.
