Privacy

What this site stores. This is not legal advice.

Outage Status Now (outagestatusnow.com) keeps only what is needed to run a public website.

• The host that serves the site sees the usual request details (IP address, browser, URL). We do not keep a first-party analytics database.
• The URL checker fetches the host you typed. We store a short public list of recent checks so the homepage can show activity. Entries older than 24 hours are not shown. Only known services and a small allow-list of popular sites appear there. Do not submit secrets.
• If ads are enabled, Google may set advertising cookies. If they are not, the ad script is not loaded and ad slots are not rendered.
• Affiliate links go to third parties. Their privacy policies apply after you click. Those cards stay hidden until a real partner URL is configured.
