Outage Status Now

How regional status works here

Vendors do not share one map of the world. We only print a region, cell, or cloud when they published it.

This site watches global business tools. We do not yet run separate US IRS or UK HMRC filing hubs. Regional notes already appear on vendor pages when the feed names a place.

Cloud regions

AWS titles usually include the region — N. Virginia is us-east-1, Oregon us-west-2, Ireland eu-west-1. An East-US event is not a European outage. Azure and Google Cloud do the same with their own names (UK South, europe-west2, and so on).

Identity cells and clouds

Okta splits production into cells. An APAC cell incident will not show as a US outage. Preview orgs are a different cell. Microsoft splits Worldwide, GCC, GCC High, DoD and China. We will not collapse those into one "Microsoft is down".

What we will not invent

If the vendor did not name a region, we leave the field as the standing note on that service — not a guessed city. Country-level "it is down for me" reports belong on other sites; we do not graph them.
